FM6SS and ABA LIFE build Morocco's smart and sovereign health
The Mohammed VI Foundation for Sciences and Health and ABA LIFE, the health hub of ABA Technology, announce the creation of a joint venture dedicated to the development of smart health infrastructures in Morocco.
Operational as of October 2026, this structure aims to strengthen clinical excellence, scientific research, and sovereign artificial intelligence in service of the national health system.

Converging medicine, engineering, and artificial intelligence
This partnership marks a structural step for the construction of a Moroccan model of augmented health, based on the complementarity between medical excellence, scientific research, engineering, and artificial intelligence.
For ABA Technology, AI only makes sense when it strengthens human capabilities, improves care pathways, and supports health professionals in their decisions. The joint venture led by FM6SS and ABA LIFE is part of this vision: to put technology at the service of a more efficient, more resilient health system that is closer to the real needs of citizens.
According to Le360, this new structure will gradually support several healthcare facilities in Morocco by 2027, before a possible extension to the African continent.

Intelligent infrastructure to transform the healthcare value chain
The ambition of this joint venture is to cover the entire healthcare value chain, from medical research to technological innovation applied to care.
The identified areas of intervention include, in particular:
medical research and clinical AI;
precision medicine and the One Health approach;
telemedicine and tele-expertise;
territorial healthcare and home hospitalization;
biomedical engineering and simulation;
biosurveillance and emergency management;
incubation of startups specializing in HealthTech.
The announced roadmap plans for more than 50 research programs, 100 international publications by 2030, the creation of an African Epidemiological Observatory by the end of 2026, the training of more than 100,000 professionals in AI, as well as more than 25 million cumulative teleconsultations and tele-expertises by 2030.

Anchoring medical innovation in Moroccan technological sovereignty
Smart healthcare cannot be built without trust. It requires controlled infrastructures, protected data, contextualized AI models, and responsible governance.
By designing and operating this platform from Morocco, FM6SS and ABA LIFE are laying the foundations for health and technological sovereignty capable of responding to national priorities, while opening up prospects on an African scale. This approach places innovation at the service of patients, physicians, researchers, students, and public decision-makers.
For ABA Technology, sovereignty is not limited to possessing digital tools. It consists of developing local capacities, training talents, structuring a sustainable HealthTech ecosystem, and bringing forth solutions aligned with realities on the ground. The announced objective of supporting more than 100 startups and contributing to the creation of more than 50 intellectual property assets illustrates this industrial and scientific ambition.
