The Minister of Industry, Trade and Green and Digital Economy inaugurated the new Engineering, Innovation and Managed Services Center of ABA Technology at the Casablanca Technopark. This center embodies the group's ambition to accelerate local technological innovation, to master the IoT value chain, and to enhance Morocco's industrial and digital sovereignty through integrated solutions.
A center to catalyze Moroccan industrial innovation
The creation of the ABA Technology Innovation Center is part of an ambitious strategy for complete technological mastery from project design to industrial manufacturing and software integration, reducing external dependence while stimulating local innovation.
The center reflects the group's goal of contributing to a more connected, sustainable, and resilient Morocco, aligned with national priorities for digital transformation and technological industrialization.

The center is equipped with solutions and products developed and manufactured in Morocco, demonstrating high-impact real-world applications:
Real-time cold chain monitoring using connected temperature sensors adapted to healthcare logistics.
Smart city solutions: surveillance cameras, smart parking, and charging stations for electric vehicles.
Telemedicine and connected devices facilitating access to digital health care.
Maintenance 4.0: vibration sensors enabling predictive management of equipment.
Connected agriculture through IoT weather stations serving farms.
These innovations promote economic performance, resilience of infrastructures, and improvement of quality of life at the territorial level.
A responsible and integrated industrial platform
The Minister emphasized that the development of the electronic and digital industry represents a crucial issue of national sovereignty and technological independence, particularly highlighted during crisis periods such as the pandemic.
The center mobilizes a team of about 80 specialized engineers covering all the necessary skills for technological innovation: hardware, software, rapid prototyping, IoT, and predictive analysis.
Beyond this center, the group employs 350 people and has industrial units in Bouskoura and Ain Sbaa, consolidating its ability to manufacture 100% locally and to control the complete IoT value chain from design to integration.
This control not only allows for creating high value-added products, but also to trigger technological breakthroughs and participate in the reconfiguration of global value chains towards greater resilience and ecological efficiency.
