Mediot presents innovative telemedicine solutions "made in Morocco"
On the sidelines of the second African Conference on Health Risk Reduction, held in Marrakech from September 27 to 29, 2023, Mediot showcased its innovative telemedicine technology solutions.
Through the intervention of Saad Chaacho, Deputy General Manager of Mediot, a subsidiary of the Moroccan group ABA Technology specializing in connected health, a range of "made in Morocco" devices was highlighted.
Technologies designed to bring care closer, strengthen the capabilities of regions, and effectively address public health challenges.
An innovation in healthcare aligned with the realities on the ground
Through Mediot, ABA Technology has a clear vision: to develop health technologies tailored to local contexts and the real needs of healthcare systems. Telemedicine thus becomes a strategic lever to improve access to medical services, particularly in areas faced with low medical density.
This approach is based on a strong conviction: technology must support healthcare professionals, enhance their capacity for action, and contribute to a fairer medicine, without ever replacing the human relationship.
Operational solutions for access to care
The telemedicine solutions presented by Mediot address concrete issues identified on the ground, particularly the continuity of care and the reduction of territorial inequalities in health.
They notably enable:
Teleconsultation assisted by connected medical devices
Remote medical monitoring of patients
Support for healthcare professionals in rural or isolated areas
Optimizing care pathways and response times
These uses contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of health systems while improving the patient experience.
A sovereign, secure, and responsible telemedicine
By developing locally designed and managed connected health solutions, Mediot participates in a technological sovereignty approach championed by ABA Technology. Mastering health data, ensuring the security of infrastructures, and regulatory compliance are essential pillars of this approach.
This responsibility is also expressed in the design of accessible, ethical, and inclusive tools, intended to be sustainably integrated into public health policies and local ecosystems.
Key Message: At ABA Technology, telemedicine and artificial intelligence are concrete means of enhancing access to care, technological sovereignty, and placing humanity at the heart of health.
