Success story - Management of Natural Disasters
Quick response to the earthquake in Morocco in September 2023 with the deployment of medical teams connected to specialists remotely to provide aid to affected populations.
Starting the second day following the earthquake, 24 medical units were deployed in various regions and localities affected by the disaster. Mobile teams equipped with telemedicine kits were able to reach the hardest hit and inaccessible areas.
The mobile teams were continuously connected with remote specialists for real-time consultations. Obstetrics and minor surgery units were deployed to meet the urgent needs of the affected populations.
